As we approach our upcoming Annual General Meeting, we are reaching out to all members with an important call for nominations to the Committee.

Due to ongoing health issues, our current President and Secretary have advised they will not be standing for re-election. In addition, a number of other committee members have indicated they will also be stepping down. At this stage, this leaves several committee positions unfilled following the AGM unless nominations are received.

It is important to note that all current Committee members have served in their roles since 2019. Their dedication and long-standing service to the Association are greatly appreciated, and now we need new members to step forward to ensre continuity and support for the Association’s future.

The key roles within the Committee include:
• President
• Secretary (Note: the current Secretary may also renominate)
• Treasurer (Note: the current Treasurer intends to renominate but this position is also open for nomination in case circumstances change)
• General Committee Members – All committee members are voting members and play an important role in the ongoing function and future direction of the Association

We are therefore seeking expressions of interest and formal nominations from members who are willing to contribute to the leadership and ongoing work of the 4RAR Association Queensland.
